Album Notes

1. Breakthrough –a dark story of a son that shoots his father. I had a friend when I was younger whose father hung himself and he used to say that he would’ve killed his dad himself if he’d got the chance.

2. City Light Moments – we have played this song on almost all of our GATSS-shows. A simple pop-song about the extraordinary in writing and living with words.

3. Charlie Fay – the reason why people have started to call our music tango-rock. This song is also one of the oldest, i remember that we even played this on our first releasparty for Vagabond’s Polka.

4. Devil When You Cry – this song was written just before we started recording and I wrote this together with Martin Björk who is the guitarist and songwriter in SHOOTING JOHN. The song is about how powerless men can feel when they see women cry.

5. Bring You Arrows – a song about the point in struggling for things you want to achieve and also about helping each other along the way. I know, very Hippie.

6. Sweden Slow – a slow, jazzy tune talking about the importance of intercourse.

7. ... – When we we’re going to record Angels Fable I told Bo Wilson the sound-engineer to start recording while The Seasick Sailors we’re warming up. This is the result.

8. Angels Fable – was written when I came home from a concert maybe four years ago. It was an amazing night with brilliant music but I knew I would never get to hear it again because no one would put money in it and they would disappear – and they did.

9. Mouthful Of Talk – a humorous story of a man that comes to heaven and is asked about his achievements in life and he responds that he has nothing but talk. It’s a reflection of living as a musician and how meaningless it sometimes can seem.

10. Movie (about solitude and grace) – a pure and simple lovesong about betrayal, loss and bitterness.

11. She walked with her hands tied – is a story of a young girl that is forced to give up on one of her most important dreams – and there is really no one to blame.

12. Something Weightless – a crazy rock-song with a messed up Dracula-organ in the front. The song is about letting go and moving on.

13. Blueberry Breeze – I wrote this together with Helena Arlock from ARLOCK VS ELGER. There we’re a lot of wine involved which maybe can explain the title.

14. We Both Knew - is about family and how exciting it is take part in a long line of generations.

15. Century – since the last song on the first album was me alone with a guitar I thought I would do it on this one too. Look forward, /G

A great band with an awesome sound. The jazz influences make them truly unique! I've seen them four times live, and they are fabulous artists.
