Bought this and the newer cd 'play some rock and roll' and it is just an outstanding peace of work. Will these guys hurry up and release the new cd - was on there website and they are supposedly coming out with the third cd over the summer. If its anything like these two, they deserve a Grammy. They are THAT good!

I saw the Mambo Sons live yesterday afternoon in Hartford, after picking up the cd from the website. I am about as jaded as they come, but these guys play like they mean it and do it well. Live they were a bit more energetic and raw, but the cd is well produced with alot of good tunes on it. My favorite tunes are Power of Time and Devil Moon. Can't wait to hear more from these guys.

Mambo Sons rocks. "Monkeyfinger" is my favorite song about Scott Weiland of STP. Its been in my player since I got it last month. I bought the cd cause Derringer is on it, but was really surprised at the excellent songs and guitar work by Lawson and Guerra. I hope these guys get to New Haven (CT) at some point soon.
