Album Notes

Long Island, NY has been the home of many groundbreaking hardcore/metal acts over the last 20 years that have included V.O.D, Crumbsuckers, Pro-Pain and most recently Full Blown Chaos. Living Shotgun, the debut release from The Guilty Party is powered by ‘Hi-Octane Hardcore’ and consists of several LIHC veterans that includes Derek on guitars (NEGELCT, ARKHAM 13) and Jaw on vocals (World Stranger, The Bezerkers).

This horror tinged nightmare starts off with the title-track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Songs like “Sour Flavor” and “Leaving Blues” find intense hardcore breakdowns that pulverize every nook and cranny of your hair follicles while “Wretched Name” and “Madman of the House” give you a death metal flavor that paralyzes you until “Never” and “Haunted” knock you out cold.

Living Shotgun will see a May 22nd store date through No Joke Records. The band is currently planning a European tour in the summer and is also currently lining up shows for a U.S. trek on the east coast following their debut release. (for fans of Slayer, Lamb of God and V.O.D. )
