First of all, we ain't all hippies. We just got a couple in the band. In the spirit of our fallen heroes we feel the obligation to tell you the truth about a lot of music today. Whenever some people listen to the music on most country music stations nowadays, they feel the sudden urge to stab themselves in the eardrum with any sharp object within reach. Why does this occur? Well, the music is fake, sappy, crappy, robotic and unauthentic. With the exceptions of a few true artists and musicians the majority of the garbage on the airwaves is overproduced, prepackaged, and mass-marketed to brainwash the masses into liking the unlikable. It's the fast food equivalent of appreciating music. In the good old days people listened to music that was true, flawed in some ways, but true nonetheless. I'm not saying that George Jones won any beauty contests, but no one can deny that Old Possum can sing. Nowadays tone-deaf pretty faced con artists come close to singing on key because of computer modulation on a mixer's laptop. Americans are gorging themselves to obesity on the McDonald's of music. They NEED to get back into shape. They have to start adhering to a healthy diet of AUTHENTIC ORGANIC HOMEGROWN music. They need to start a strenuous program to STRENGTHEN their ear muscles and get rid of the flab they have. And a good way to start would be to listen to THE GUNHANDS' "COUNTRY STRANGE". THE GUNHANDS are 5 good ole country boys who play old school, new style, good timing, rock and rolling, bluegrassing, outlaw country music. It's the perfect music to start you back on the road to recovery. It's gonna be hard, and you're gonna need support. So when that toxic spew comes on the radio again and you're reaching for a screwdriver, just put "COUNTRY STRANGE" on the cd player and say to yourself, "I can do this. I can do this!"
