Gorgeously beautiful !

Christine Gunn's cello solo compositions really go down to your heart. I feel it like a very feminin album. There's a true concept behind each song and constructing the whole album. The artwork is beautiful and makes you travel through woods, where you hear the trees singing. My favorite above all : #3 - Prospero's gift. So romantic and transcendental. It makes you see alot of beautiful pre-raphaelite pictures or you can feel like in a motion picture such as The Last of the Mohicans. Song after song, you fall in love with Christine's playing and compostions. Honestly, with all my heart: add it to your cd collection!

I first encountered Gunn's solo talents during a Trillian Green performance, when the flute needed repair, and she charged through the remainder of the song, solo...tremendous. If you like TG, you will love this; mesmerizing, deep, emotional. Reminds me of Bill Evan's "Conversations With Myself." Gunn has something real special; thanks so much for this unique gift.
