Album Notes

New England based singer/songwriter Timothy Gurshin returns with his most tightly focused album yet, a collection of songs that explore healthy defiance, sometimes subtle and sometimes strong, in the face of tough odds.

The music blends folk, rock and alt-country to create a unique Americana sound, from ballads to barn-burners, resulting in a complete listening experience. The band tracks were recorded in Nashville with top studio players Andy Most, Dave Francis, Pasi Leppikangas, Pat Lassiter and Marshall Richardson.

The songs are acoustic and electric guitar driven, supporting strong melodies that deliver the punch of the lyrics.

Gurshin has performed in Nashville at such clubs as the Bluebird Cafe and Gibson's, and frequently performs in the New England area. His songs have won contests, been featured on Chris Conn's nationally syndicated radio show and have been used in soundtracks for documentatries and videos.
