ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Gus & Knots hate each other. They are always fighting for the spot light. Gus demanded that his name be first in the name of the band, threatened to go solo, and then cried about it until Knots gave in. Then Gus quit anyway. Soon he realized it's hard work trying to go solo, so he got the band back together, which in turn prompted Knots to quit because he felt like he had the upper hand. Then Knots had the same feeling that Gus did and demanded that they reform. Gus said no, and Knots cried about it until finally Gus caved. They are currently making music and drinking Guinness in your backyard. You should go hang out.

Gus & Knots have perfected moving emotion and thought from their hearts and heads into musical form. They have developed a product within their songs that is, not only wanted and desired, but needed. Their diverse backgrounds and interpretations meet in agreement over a guitar, a mic, and couple Guinness. From ideas, they unravel epic sounds built from distinctive chords and improvised words. There is no limit to where the depths of their songs can take you, so enjoy the journey wherever it leads. Listen to live, and live to listen. In their opinion, shared by many, music is always with you. Whether its the sound of Tape Deck that heightens your want for the first warm day after a long winter, or if its Time of Our Lives which paints a picture of what either you or a friend is going through at the present, they have a tune for you. Waiting on Waves was inspired by the time both Gus and Knots lived in Nosara, Costa Rica. Any surfer in the world will appreciate the rhythmic flow that accompanies the incendiary acoustic breakdown that follows. Saint Florian is dedicated to the brave and underappreciated heros of September 11th whom we will never be able to thank enough. The songs of Gus and Knots will soon be flooding tapedecks and airwaves around the world. Don't be the last person to drop in on this wave.
