Guy Bacos began playing the piano at the age of 8. After quitting piano lessons several times, Guy discovered a new world waiting for him. During his lifetime, Loyonnet established friendships with many great 20th century composers such as Debussy and Ravel. After studying 5 years with his new mentor, Guy went on to earn a Bachelors degree in composition at McGill university. His Maters in performance was earned at the University of Montreal under Claude Savard.
After his graduate studies, Guy began his career composing music for various media’s. Additionally, he augmented his palette with pop and jazz music. His smooth piano playing and versatility made him the house pianist of the Club St-Denis, a prestigious club located in downtown Montreal.
Guy's first major film scoring credit came with "Eternal" (2004). Since then, he has been an active member in the entertainment industry. This includes numerous other film projects. His abilities as a midi programmer were quickly noticed by VSL (Vienna Symphonic Library). He became an official and leading demo maker for them for the past 5 years.
