GWA blends sounds of The Pet Shop Boys and David Bowie. Hard Rock Candy Sandwich is a Limited Edition EP and is the only work of GWA.
GWA was fronted by the American recording artist Gary Vandelay.
Vandelay is now a member of the band Neatly Real.

His vocals remind me of early David Bowie, at around the "Ziggy Stardust" era.
author: Jonathan SandersIf this guy had a different background to his voice, this would be the kind of song [Raining] I'd listen to repeatedly. His vocals remind me of early David Bowie, at around the "Ziggy Stardust" era. Great care seems to have been taken to make sure the vocals fit the limitations of the background, and that effort shows through clearly. For that I will give GWA credit, because by the time I was finished, the attention to detail on that particular front was spot on.
