Album Notes

Gwen trained as a classical musician on harp from age eight. She began to study voice and perform as a vocal soloist at fourteen. Gwen has been a guest artist and performed in venues around the state including the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Spokane Symphony, the Northwest Harp Festival, the Paramount Theater, the Tacoma Symphony, the Tacoma Ballet, the Evergreen Ballet, the Woods House Conservatory, the Icicle Creek Music Festival, the Bellevue Philharmonic, and Federal Way Philharmonic. She is a repeat performer for the national anthem at Mariner games. Gwen has a harp studio where she teaches classical and celtic harp and leads two harp ensembles (yes, one of those groups is the notorious "Mother Pluckers"). Her recordings are "Irish Gwen," a collection of Irish folk tunes, and "Watershed," a collection of original celtic pop songs written and performed by Gwen and her band, Watershed. Gwen is ridiculously fond of Levis 501s, high heels, cheesy grins, and dark chocolate.
