Rev. Gwendolyn Phillips Coates is a native of Los Angeles, California, founder and President of God Answers Prayer Ministries, a non profit corporation. www.gap-ministries.com (CEO of God Answers Prayer Records & Philabob Publishing). She has independently produced and released solo CD's Grateful and It's Christmas. Rejoice! Currently she is in pre-production for her third solo CD, Songs From My Soul. Pastor Gwendolyn is the author of Waiting on My Lunch Date: A Journey Through Grief and a Path to Joy (Philabob Publishing), contributing writer for the Wisdom & Grace Devotional Bible for Young Women of Color (Nia Publishing) and develops bible studies.

Singing since the age of two, her many performance and recording experiences include opening for The Staple Singers, Candi Staton, - singing with Norman Hutchins, Jesse Dixon, James Cleveland, Pastor Pat Wright and the Total Experience Choir - and recording with many known artists. The worldwide ministry of singing, conference teaching and revival preaching of this spirit-filled woman of God has been received in Senegal, West Africa, Barbados, West Indies, Kingston, Jamaica, and all across the United States.

Pastor Gwendolyn currently lives in Kent, Washington. She is a widow and has three adult children Faundsworth (Michella), LaNicia, Philip, one grandson Mikkel and one granddaughter Mikalah.
