Needless to say, we are very pleased. Produced by Violinist Peter Hyrka, the album features the sounds of Justin Thompson on guitar, and David Spicher on string bass. Spicher also engineered the recording, which was done at the studio of his legendary father, fiddler Buddy Spicher - the Fiddle House.

  • so unique and cool!

I heard a bit of their music on NPR, I think, and then listened to what was available on this site, and had to buy it! It's such a great change from the typical holiday music. I liked it well enough that even though they were sold out for months surrounding Xmas, I remembered to go back and get it in the off-season. Would make an excellent gift!

  • love it!

I love the CD!!! The arrangements are so fun and the musicianship top notch. I am planning to order at least two more for 2008 x-mas gifts. Thanks for helping me complete my shopping early!

Our entire family loved Django Bells CD at our holiday gathering, and the week before. Just the right mix of whimsy and artistry, these guys amused and entertained like no other CD in our player. Many stopped, asked "What CD IS this??", and were given the "how to" for purchasing it for themselves (we don't bootleg). Also ordered "Nouveau", for later. I'm glad I tuned into NPR while riding around one day. That's where I heard the Gypsy Hombres, and first fell in love with their quirky, uplifiting work. HIGHY recommend this to anyone, as I know ANYone would enjoy it as much as we do.

  • Awesome!
