Melding catchy acoustic grooves with side-splitting lyrics, Hadley Baker\'s \"Songs About Girls EP\" packs quite the comedic punch. Sort of a John Mayer\'s \"Room For Squares\" meets Weird Al\'s \"Straight Outta Lynwood\" sound.

Album Notes

Combining the influences of acoustic giants John Mayer and Pete Yorn with the quirkiness of life, Hadley Baker has emerged onto the music scene and is quickly making a name for himself as a musical comedian. Often compared to Adam Sandler or Flight of the Conchords, Baker\'s original comedy tunes blend serious music with anything but serious lyrics. Be it a song about your dog dying or grandma passing gas in the closed confines of an automobile, this music is as random as it is ridiculous.

Baker is optimistic that his music does more than draw laughter from his fans. \"All I wanna do is make people laugh. Life has a way of getting hard in a hurry. Sooner or later we all find ourselves going through one of life\'s storms. I want my music to be a break from all that. When people are having a rough day and are in need of a good laugh, I want them to reach for one of my CDs.\"

\"Songs About Girls\" is the follow up EP to Baker\'s 2007 release \"Always Never Serious\" With a stripped down acoustic feel, this record is easy to listen to and easier to laugh at.
