Jason Haft was born & raised in the East Bay Area of Northern California. His musical inspiration stems from his mother, who is a Philippines radio champion in the singing division. Jason Haft\'s music is a blend of west coast hip hop, gothic alternative rock, and classical gospel music. He is an independent entrepreneur who currently owns JDH. Jason Haft started writing poetry in 1995. In the year 2000, he became interested in becoming a recording artist. The lack of industry contacts and associates forced him into creating his own style of music. Although being categorized in the hip hop genre, Jason Haft\'s music appeals to all people interested in listening to a harmonious blend of instruments. Jason Haft\'s lyrics are criticized as \"controversial,\" due to the diverse variety of subject matter. Jason Haft is the owner of JDH which is located in Union City, California.
