Album Notes

Albert Hague (Professor Shorovsky of Fame) and his wife, Renée Orin present an evening of humor, music and reminiscences on their new CD Still: Young and Foolish, Live at the Cinegrill of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

The multiple careers of Albert Hague and Renée Orin comprise a fascinating heritage of Broadway, film and television including Young and Foolish from Albert's hit show Plain and Fancy to Renée starring opposite Gene Kelly.

Albert's Tony Award-winning musical Redhead received raves at the Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut last winter. His musical setting of How the Grinch Stole Christmas continues to be a TV favorite.

Renée Orin has enjoyed a singular career in many Broadway plays and musicals, including Neil Simon's Plaza Suite, Tennessee Williams' Slapstick Tragedy, Plain and Fancy, and the Broadway revival of Pal Joey. She has starred opposite Gene Kelly, Jack Lemmon, Jack Gilford, Paul Lynde and many others.

They have been named Best Bets by the Los Angeles Times, Pick of the Week by LA Weekly, Critics Choice in Drama-Logue and the NY Daily News.

Albert Hague and Renée Orin played a sold-out engagement at Eighty Eight's in New York City in November, and returned to the Hollywood Cinegrill in April.

REVIEW: The husband and wife team of Albert Hague and Renée Orin light up the room with sparkling and youthful energy. Bursting with hilarious anecdotes of Broadway legends and Hollywood scoundrels. Hague delights with some humorous piano tricks, and when Orin takes the spotlight, she soars as a singer and as an actor.
