Music is inspired by nature, landscapes, changing skies and various light
HAIKU is an ambient album also inspired by books and, movies. The song Flying is inspired by the Spanish movie Mar adentro (The Sea Within) by Alejandro Ameñabar.
The song, Armenia is about the victims and the survivors of the armenian holocaust.
My Garden is a musical meditation about having a place to go to, when you need a rest.
Other songs are about the joy of sunlight in various forms.
The music expresses various feelings but results in an all together optimistic album.
I am educated from D.A.R.K. the rhythmic conservatory in Copenhagen. Besides I compose music for theatre and films.

Haiku
author: Edward
I heard only one song, Plein Soleil, from the haiku CD on “Radio Mystic” found on “Live365.com”. I knew I had to have the whole CD but I had some problem finding where to purchase it. I was directed to CDBaby.com where I quickly found out that they were simply awesome. It blew me away that I could actually listen to 2 minutes of each track before I made my decision to purchase. This so very much out does the 30 seconds that the big boys give you.
But enough about the site and on to the CD. I would have purchased it for only the one song, Plein Soleil, like I said above but after listing to samples of all 15 tracks I found that I was going to enjoy the entire thing.
I usually don’t like vocals all that much but Peter Lund and Helle Thun both have captivating voices. When I saw vocals listed on the album I immediately started thinking about editing those songs out of my play list. Good thing I gave them a well deserved listen. They each blended with the instruments and music absolutely seamlessly. I am so glad that Henrik had the wisdom to include them on this work of art.
This CD took me Scotland, Greenland and Armenia. I got to see the Northern Lights and even a peek into Henrik’s garden. I was able to look into the sun with my ears and hear the morning come to life. What an exciting yet totally relaxing listening experience. I only wish there were some way to rate this album higher than just 5 stars!
I am looking forward to purchasing more music form Henrik.

Haiku
author: Rick Johnson
This is a terrific album with no bad tracks. Henrik and his friends are talented artists playing great compositions.
I have been a fan of this kind of music since I discovered George Winston's Autumn in the late 70's and radio station KKSF in San Francisco in 1987, and this one is near the top of the list of my favorites.
On Haiku, Henrik's rock background comes through very nicely so it's slightly "harder" and more up to date than some of what I call "New Age".
I can't wait to hear Henrik's next album. I'm sure it will be different than Haiku, since he and his friends are marvelously creative talents, and they will go in new directions.
Get this album. You won't be disappointed.
Thanks to Jon at Spirit Within Internet Radio for finding these artists. We all need to support all such musicians, and Jon, too!

This is an incredible CD!
author: Sprit-Within New Age Radio
This is an incredible CD! If you have ever heard the music of Alan Parsons Project, Try Anything Once, then you'll understand the genius of Henrik's Haiku project. Inspired by the beauty and simplicity of haiku poems, Henrik, from Denmark, does a wonderful job in expressing the drama of landscapes, changing skies, and the emotions often experienced from their beauty. Definitely buy this CD for yourself. – Jon
