ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Indie Ambient Sci-Fi Pop is an homage to the double concept album: 19 tracks of pop eccentricity and disturbed folk born in the 60s, 70s and 80s with references to a few things in-between. Conceived in lo-fi in Dalston in November 2008, finalised in hi-fi on Dartmoor in May 2011.

A solo studio production by the London-based composer/musician (rka Jens Hills) with co-production by Simon Rogers (Incantation, The Fall, Ramp, Slacker, Leuroj, Lightning Seeds, tv/theatre work includes Hustle and Rebus, RSC’s Morte d’Arthur). Vocal contributions from K Sharp, VHF and Anthony Jackson Stubbs (courtesy of Paleday).

Mastered by Simon Heyworth for Super Audio Mastering (Depeche Mode, Nick Drake, Brian Eno, George Harrison, Imogen Heap, Jon Hopkins, King Crimson, Mike Oldfield, Simple Minds, Scott Walker and many others).
