Album Notes

This is the debut recording of Scott Hall, recorded in 1996 at Studiomedia, Chicago. Scott is now director of Jazz Studies at Columbia College Chicago, and is Music Director of the Chicago Jazz Ensemble. Scott has a great lyrical approach to the trumpet, making it sing or sizzle depending upon the demands of the moment.
