Album Notes

As one of the producers from the underground camp HALO, Yogi comes forth with the first solo album on Halo Productions. The album "Soiled" is for anyone who loves to rant and rave about how f-ed up going to a worthless job, dealing with air headed girls, racial conflicts and, how sickening Hip Hop has gotten with the same old materialistic raps of a few select radio rap powerhouses.

Don't sleep on the production, every one who has heard a Halo cd is famous to ask "who does the beats?", Dream and Leylo team up on this one to bring grimey, visual lyrics, bouncy catchy tracks, warm rumbling basslines, and emotional cries that pour into ears. The album flows well through out and is a must for any under ground Hip Hop head.

From Sacramento, CA. this is the perfect album to relate to after a hard day at the job and, you feel like bringing a gun to work the next day, you're not alone. Album also features Sac-Town based group HALO,(Seven,Leylo,Dream,Macc SeS,Mr.Brown,Menace D,T-Dubb,Blaze, and Prospect) The Bay Area's Ammbush (from Deadbeats) and, The Fam (Age Scott, Sinista Z and Mel-Yel)formally known as Nth Level.

A lot of headz wonder why Yogi wears a bag over his head on his freakin' album cover, well if you said some of the stuff he said, you would too......

From the samples on the net itself I am entertained, and I have the album itself! Thewhole thing takes you on a roller coaster through the sick and soiled world that Yogi sees as the industry. He's not scared to speak his mind on a few rap artist also. Plenty of tracks to enjoy...great job!
