Album Notes

Phil Hammon is a singer/songwriter exploring everyday life with a musical and humorous twist. With three CD's entitled "The Librarian's Nightmare", "Frankenstein Baby" and his BRAND NEW REALEASE “Over My Head” it is apparent that Phil likes to have fun with his music. Whether dealing with issues of national concern, good/bad relationships or personal flaws, Phil always maintains a sense of humor. With a tendency to poke fun at his own life, directly, he tries to show people it is okay to laugh at one’s self too. The goal is to lighten the load we all bear, emotionally and physically, through stress. Life is too short to be wound up like a spring and it is wonderful when people use music to help them unwind. However, don't be surprised if Weird Al is not what you get with Phil Hammon music. Actually, the music on his CDs has a mature Adult Contemporary/Soft Rock/Pop type of sound with a discerning edge. You might actually think of Phil’s music as the double edge sword cutting into the soft underbelly of the soft pop genre. Always trying to find balance in life Phil also attempts to balance multiple genres into one pleasing format.
