It is with great joy that HaMo'Robyn announces the release of her first CD "HaMo'Robyn...just in case".

Jewish educator Robyn Hendricks has created a unique name for herself by combining the Hebrew words "ha morah", literally "the teacher", with her name. Along with creating her name, HaMo'Robyn has created quite a following among young children and their families, fostering a love of Judaism with her unique blend of song and story.

The South African born Hendricks has inspired folks across the nation; using her guitar, her voice, her winning smile, and her amazing "ruach" (spirit). Whether she is teaching about a specific holiday, or a Judaic values lesson, music is an intregal part of the experience.

This recording of 15 songs, a mix of both beloved favorites and delightful original compositions is sure to become a favorite the whole family can agree upon. Robyn moves effortlessly from straight acoustic guitar/vocal tracks: “Gonna Build Me an Ark”, “Thank You, God”, “Bim Bom”, to fully orchestrated ballads, with rich backup vocal harmonies; “The Rainbow Blessing”, “It’s Chanukah Time”, “T’filat Haderch”, to a Carmen Miranda style “Afikomen Mambo.” Her original composition, “Esther’s Song”, sure to become a holiday classic, tells the entire story of Purim (okay, the whole megillah!) in song and allows us a true sampling of her delightful sense of humor.

Joined by a chorus of children on many of the tracks, "HaMo’Robyn... just in case" gives the feel of being at an intimate sing-a-long in your car or living room, and will have you're child singing and dancing along from the jump.

HaMo'Robyn is currently the Judaic specialist for the Early Childhood Education Department as well as the Jewish Life & Cultural Coordinator at the Alpert Jewish Community Center in Long Beach, CA (where she attended preschool over 40 years ago)!! Ms. Hendricks also provides music and innovative "Tot Shabbat Services" for many southland synagogues, in addition to performing concerts and participating in family retreat weekends.... and so much more!

With the release of her first CD, we can finally bring HaMo'Robyn into our homes to experience the joy and energy that make her such a unique and vibrant Jewish educator.

....and yes, she really does fit in the guitar case!!!
