San Francisco based singer-songwriter, Noëlle Hampton, has been nominated for "Outstanding Female Vocalist" in the California Music Awards along with Aimee Mann, Gwen Stefani, Tracy Chapman and more. She was also the winner of the highly competitive Lilith Fair Talent Search, and is just recently voted one of San Francisco's hottest bands for 2002. She continues to garner attention for her independent release, "Under These Skies,"(also available on CDBaby) which has sold thousands of copies, and now she is back with some spanking new recordings.

Noëlle wanted to have a great representation of her newer material when she started touring the U.S. this summer, and couldn't wait for a full length album to be done, so she released "5 For The Road." It's a tasty 5-song sampler of what is to come for the next cd. Noëlle Hampton and André Moran team up again on production, with additional help from their musical family including Michael Godwin and David Kostiner, to create a unique sound - both rootsy and lush.
