THE HANDCUFFS is the current project of acclaimed Chicago-based songwriting/production team of drummer Brad Elvis and vocalist Chloe F. Orwell, whose potent creative chemistry has earned the duo praise from fans and critics alike for their musicianship and showmanship. The duo have received accolades in the mainstream and alternative press throughout the world, including the Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Columbus Dispatch, The Big Takeover, Punk Planet, Amplifier, Sound Affects (Sweden), Jem (Japan), Mojo (U.K.) and countless others.

Elvis and Orwell’s former band BIG HELLO, considered to be the precursor to THE HANDCUFFS, released several critically acclaimed CDs (including songs featured on this album), played hundreds of shows throughout the U.S. and received airplay on college and commercial radio all over the globe.

THE HANDCUFFS debut 12-song release (2006) “Model for a Revolution” is also available for download or on CD. Songs from “Model for a Revolution” have also been featured on MTV shows (“The Hills,” “Laguna Beach,” “Next, “ etc.) and in other television and film projects.
