French Children's Music
A wonderful recording of activity songs and lullabies for young children in French! This joint project with The Parent-Child Mother Goose Programme features songs that are loved by French speaking parents and babies all across Canada.
This is Hannah’s debut recording, and together with her mother, Kathy Reid-Naiman, who has recorded 4 award winning children’s Cds, and producer Ken Whiteley, the producer of innumerable recordings, including Raffi and Fred Penner, she has produced a great collection of 28 beautiful songs. Some are lullabies for quiet times and the rest are songs for playing, bouncing and dancing along. There are a few widely known titles such as Fait dodo and Sur le pont d’Avignon, but most will be new to many although they have been around for many years.

Savez-vous planter des choux?
author: Esther Parish
I recently purchased this CD for my two preschoolers, and we all love it! We participated in a Mother Goose program for two years and grew very familiar with the "A Smooth Road to London Town" CD by Hannah's mom, so I decided to give this one a try in order to expose my kids to some French. Several of the songs are very catchy (such as the 3 that you can hear on this site), and there are a couple of very beautiful lullabies (such as "Fais do do" and "Maman fait dodo"). A couple of the songs are French re-makes of the songs on "Smooth Road," so it's fun for my kids to recognize them (namely "Watch the Stars" & "Sleeping Bunnies"). I would recommend purchasing this CD! --A satisfied mom near Knoxville, TN
