Hansel is at best a conglomeration of beat spliced digital hardcore menaced thugery at top a pile of atmospheric soundscapes and punk ideology. An unexpected blend of punk/hardcore experimental electronic emotionally discordant classical nuance raw style.

Hansel consists of two, or sometimes three people:
Alan fux, Emex Lopex and occassionally JD Lindham.
Originally Hansel was an unamed project
of no consequence back in 1995, when Fux and Lopex
began exploring computer based samplers and sythesis.
Hansel rejected all electronic music known to them at
the time, allowing a more unique approach at
how to write their own music (listening to old school
hip-hop, punk/hardcore bands and classical music and
trying to blend it together with a computer as their
only tool.) It was years before artists like aphex
twin and alec empire surfaced in Hansels realm of
knowledge, and inspirations derived from such
perfected an otherwise interesting style of music.
A demo was released 1997-98, limited to 50 hand made
cassette duplications. A few demos were made in 1999
and 2000 however in 2002 Hansel exploded with 2 demo
releases and in early 2003 compiled tracks for a full
length release through dtrash records.
