Nein, Mainstream ist das nicht. Dazu sind es zu viele unterschiedliche Stilrichtungen, die der Komponist und Arrangeur Hans-Joachim Schneider hier bedient. Und das reicht von Latin (Salsa, Bachata) über Flamenco-Klänge (Españoleta) bis zu reinem Jazz und vor allem der Klassik. Die Musikbranche fasst dies im allgemeinen unter der Rubrik World zusammen. Und das ist auch die Bühne auf der er sich bewegt. 1958 in Naumburg (Deutschland) geboren und im wirklichen Leben Unternehmer gilt seine wahre Liebe jedoch der Musik und hier vor allem der Komposition und dem Arrangement. Dabei bedient er nicht nur die selbst beherrschten Instrumente wie Piano und Gitarre sondern setzt auch bei den Bläsern und Streichern hörbare Akzente.
Sein Interesse an fremden Kulturen und Sprachen und seine musikalische Herkunft in der Klassik schaffen dabei eine interessante Symbiose aus den unterschiedlichsten Musikrichtungen. Manchmal zum Tanzen und manchmal zum Träumen - mit diesen Worten kann man es wohl am kürzesten
umschreiben. Die vorliegenden Titel stellen eine Auswahl des Komponisten aus den bis jetzt erschienenen CDs Santos und Salamanca dar. Hinzugekommen sind einige Stücke der noch nicht veröffentlichten Alben Dèjà vu, Adagio und Café:Ok, die erst Ende 2012 bzw. 2013 erscheinen

No, esto no es solo Música corriente. Hay diferentes estilos, que utiliza el compositor y arreglista, Hans-Joachim Schneider aquí. Los ejemplos van desde la salsa y bachata de América, pasando por los sonidos del Flamenco como Españoleta hasta el jazz puro, siendo su especialidad la música
clásica. Este tipo de música puede enmarcarse dentro del género del World music y es en este escenario dónde se desenvuelve con mayor gusto.
Nació en el año 1958 en Naumburg, Alemania. Un empresario en la vida real, pero su verdadero amor es la música en especial el arreglo y la composición. Domina el piano y la guitarra, pero también encuentra en los instrumentos de viento y cuerda un acento audible. Su interés por la cultura e idiomas extranjeros lo han llevado a crear un estilo de música dónde se mezclan diferentes ritmos con la forma clásica que lo caracteriza, unas veces para bailar y otras para soñar. Estos temas son una selección de composiciones ya editadas en los albumes Santos y Salamanca. Se encuentran también algunas piezas de los CD Déjà vu, Adagio y Café:Ok, próximos a publicar.
