The CD “From Brazil...With Love” is the result of a long-enduring love affair with Brazilian music. While spending half a year in Brazil, singer and guitarist Hans LImburg got together with some fabulous Brazilian musicians in the “Estúdio ViaBrasil”, to record a selection of the greatest Brazilian songs, written by the most famous and significant composers and lyricists like Tom Jobim, Djavan, João Bosco, Ivan Lins, Vinícius de Moraes and Paulo César Pinheiro, among others.
His long-time friend and co-producer Stephan Hitzelberger from the “Estúdio ViaBrasil” near Recife in Pernambuco, Brazil had chosen the wonderful musicians for the project and the collaboration was full of passion and Brazilian “saudade”. The final mastering was done by Cláudio Guimarães in Rio de Janeiro. The CD became a beautiful blend of sophisticated vocal and guitar based songs, arranged for rhythm section with tasteful solos, played by extraordinary musicians such as Nigel Shore and Fabinho Costa.
