The Garden is the debut CD from Chivaree, the invention of singer/songwriter Lynne Hanson, based in Kingston, Ontario.

Lynne Hanson has been writing and playing solidly for the past several years in Eastern Ontario. Lynne began writing songs almost 25 years ago. Lynne Hanson has performed at the Blue Skies Music Festival, the Gananoque Festival of the Islands, the Livewire Music Series in Kingston, and at the Kingston First Night Festival.

Lynne Hanson cites James Taylor, Lynn Myles and Shawn Colvin as influences in her writing and performing style. Her songwriting is soulful and moving, with pretty melodies and compelling turns of phrase, and her voice is reminiscent of Norah Jones and Alison Krauss, pure and unaffected.
