Walter, the Waltzing Worm
author: Marie WarrenLoved several of the songs; plan to use one as our theme song at graduation in the spring (4 year olds). Came up with rope worms to portray Walter, the worm. My classes LOVE this song and the "pretend" worm. Can't use all the songs in my "movement" class but several are big hits.
great for all ages of kids
author: KateGreat for learning-music makes the ideas stick in your head and this goes for every age. My son just loves this cd since he first heard it in school. He is very ecclectic with his music-everything from rock and roll to folk to nursery tunes, etc. This is one of his favorites and well it should be.
i loved it

Lots of wonderful songs!
author: Lynn FrancisThis CD is wonderful. Usually there is 1, maybe 2 songs on a CD that really clicks with the boys and girls. I do most every song on this CD. It really sends the message of how special and unique each child is.

Wow! I learned these songs as a child, now I teach them!
author: RebeccaI am an early childhood teacher. I teach two yr olds at the lab school at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. I also play the guitar with my kids. I was singing Ella Jenkin's tune, "Play your instruments" today, and my kids asked for us to play the instruments "fast"---they like everything fast at this age. Somehow, I found myself singing,"This is a song about slow..." in between "fast" verses. The kids were wide eyed and listened intently. I knew there was a part about fast in the song about slow, so I googled "this is a song about slow" and found your site. I am so excited! I can't wait to get some of your recordings and use them with my kids. It is amazing how one song can make such an impression when you are a kid, and to have it all come back when you are a teacher! Just thought you should know, your music from many years ago lives on. Over twenty years later, I am still singing the songs I learned in Ms. Pallas' kindergarten classroom. Thanks for your contributions to early childhood music ed.
