Brilliant powerful sardonic...

This album is great! Short sharp power pop songs that blast through like the Replacements channeled through Elvis Costello & The Attractions circa This Year's Model. Salim Nourallah is a very distinct powerful songwriter capable of unbridled passion, angst, and incredible poignancy as well. The band made up of the cream of Dallas musicians attack pop music with the sardonic attitude and tense, aggressive energy of punk.

Fun intelligent pop finds its true home!

The other review is so spot on, it'll be hard to improve, but here goes: This cd is FUN! This attribute, coupled with the energetic wall o' sound, and Salim's intelligent lyrics make this cd a must have for any and all summer breaks, both real and mental. I'm imagining a 50s prom filled with punk rock angst, esp. on the song "Lovable." Brilliant!!
