Canadian pop goodness, sweet female vocals peppered with grit and a dylan-esque lyrical approach. Think of what might happen if Debbie Harry, Lucinda Williams and Kim Deal got together over whisky and red wine. this could be their musical love-child.

Album Notes

Sherry-Lee Wisor's pop band, happy, continues the rambunctious Edmonton alt-country-pop-punk tradition exemplified by unsung indie bands like jr. gone wild and idyll tea from the late 80's.

Sweet vocals are offset by grit as the songs traverse the hills and valleys of love lost and found... the tunes move from banjo based pop to Lucinda Williams-esque roots tunes, listen for respectful nods to bands like the Ramones and the Band.

Featuring the songs of Sherry-Lee, Happy consists of Robin Hunter of the Imagineers and the 6 foot Bullies, Graham Guest and Red Shag Carpet's, Allan Pickard.
