Album Notes

The product of the tough streets of NYC and the kind of education you can only get here. Loud, literate with a mess of influences. Writer/musician/ producer/ Harley brings a lot to the table and invites the whole disfunctional family to sit down just to see what fireworks will go off. Based on real life city stories and some made up, "Hidden Drive" covers a bit of ground but not so much that you wonder what's going on.. Lots of great guitar sounds drums bass mellotron and of course tambourine,,,oh yeah and vocals... Just listen to the lyrics and be happy now.!

With a little help from members of the Tuff Darts,Joey Dee's Starlighters, Lenny Kay Connection, Nantucket, legendary engineer Wharton Tiers (Sonic Youth , J Mascis, William Shatner), Harley Fine has created a damn fine rock record.

I dig Harley's record! Being a huge 1960's rock music lover, I completely identify with "Hidden Drive." Great guitar and bass, and very smart, witty songs. The record sounds great in the speakers too. A lot of influences were mentioned in the review on the main page, but I think a little David Bowie snuck in there too, which is always a great thing. Great rock album. Congratulations, and please keep on writing! Love it, Harley

I just got the CD and it is very tastefully done. I have seen this guy play guitar with Tommy Frenzy live and have been waiting for this record. I think the best tune on the CD is Mr. Zero. This guy has one great future as a guitar and production hero.
