ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
For his second release in the Great Barrier series, Paul Harlyn took his influences from the American Indian tribes of the North and Southwest.

The 14 tracks presented here reflect the cultural influences gleaned from his extensive travel to that area.

From the opening poem, "Dark Time" recited in French, with its rich soundscape backdrop, to the American Indian influenced "Hopi Drums" and Kokopelli, the CD is a 61 minute journey that will touch your heart and soul.

On 3 songs, Paul Harlyn's piano, keyboards, and ethnic flutes are joined by exotic vocalizations that are wordless yet full of meaning.

This CD is a anticipated follow up to his well received first Great Barrier project, "Between What Is Real, and What Is Imaginary".
