POWER OF POSITIVE MUSIC, Vol 1
In a world bombarded with negative images, on TV, in movies, in music, not to mention real life, Affinity Records has made a commitment to be a positive influence, by releasing the Power of Positive Music™ series. The mission is to create & compile music of a positive, motivational and/or uplifting nature and make it available under the Power of Positive Music™ concept on CDs, on the internet, and in live performance.

ABOUT THIS FIRST CD
The first POWER OF POSITIVE MUSIC™ collection contains songs that have already helped community and corporate organizations in their efforts to inspire and motivate participants/employees at various events. "Share The Dream" is used for the theme for the Inner City Games, Arnold Schwarzenegger's charity organization and "Why Not Me" was highlighted at a national function for corporate officers for the popular Chicken Soup for the Soul publishers. Also "Music Speaks Louder Than Words" has been a theme for several International Songwriter and Peace conference events including the Soviet American Songwriter Summit and the 1st annual Salute to the American Songwriter. These songs have served to inspire thousands, and are part of this first CD release and concert series. It is a focused goal to have the POWER OF POSITIVE MUSIC™ concert featured at as many community events as possible. Help us encourage, create and inspire positive attitudes by adding a concert for your community.

ARTISTS & AWARDS:
This first CD is a collection of songs by Affinity Recording Artists: GRAVITY, Harold Payne and Clydene Jackson Edwards. Clydene Jackson Edwards voice appears in many recordings including Lion King, Toy Story II; Harold Payne (vocalist/ guitarist) has had over 100 of his songs recorded by artists such as, Rod Stewart, Patti Labelle & Taj Mahal; Oliver C. Brown (percussionist) is an original member of KC & the Sunshine Band has toured many acts including Mick Fleetwood. (see more indivdual credits at www.PositiveMusic.com)
Also, the POWER OF POSITIVE MUSIC™ project has received a grant from the California Arts Council's Multi-Cultural Entry grant which helps us promote existing PPM projects and record new volumns.
