Harpoon is basically a blues band, but with a funky twist to the traditional blues songs found on this album. The playing is very tight and the band fires and has received great reception at all of the gigs played.

Harpoon was founded when the drummer Barry ( lil goose ) Harvey was asked to play with Guitarist,Mat Stevenson; Vocalist, Junior Hickey and Bass player Cameron Street. The first thing that the band did was rehearse the songs on the album and record them and take them to local gigs here in Australia to a very good reaction from all audiences. The band members have a real forte when it comes to Improvisation and soloing, all members are very experienced at their individual instruments and have vast experience in playing them. There are some great blowing sections on the tracks of the Album.
The music is all great "feel" styles. The listener will get the feel of the band very quickly.

Some great tracks on this recording and played so tightly by Harpoon, all tracks have a great edge on the groove and this band knows how to rock, swing and be very funky all at the same time. This album is certainly worth hearing and all the guys in the band are fantastic at what they do. Check this out !!!!!
