Ron Harrison’s songs are easy to get and always salt and peppered with just the right flavoring of guest talent and arrangement to purposefully undermine the brooding songwriter within. Special to this compilation is Ron Harrison’s honoring of the great songwriter, Laura Nyro. Ron’s version of And When I Die combines the great Laura Nyro lyric while attempting a samba-rock toying with the familiar Blood Sweat and Tears arrangement.
