The various rhythmic styles of the ‘Top Ten’ dances are timeless and evoke an age when a large amount of music was written specifically for the Ballroom and Latin dance floors.

Although the music for Absolutely Ballroom & Latin has been composed in the Twenty First Century it has been inspired by those dance rhythms - some glamorous and elegant, others wild and sensuous – that originated in quite different cultures yet remain equally as exciting and vital today as they were when they first became popular.

The many dance studios, social and competitive events that continue to flourish offer little excuse to those who say that they can’t dance but would love to. Yet there can be few better ways of getting to know yourself and your partner than to dance. So, if music be the food of love, dance on!
