Album Notes

I was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and I gave my life to Christ at the age of seven. My first musical experience was in the children's choir at Olivet Baptist Church in Chattanooga. My family moved to Denver, Colorado and while there I joined a Gospel recording group known as "The Zion Crusaders" of Denver, Colorado. I sang with the Crusaders for 10 years and learned much from my peers. In 1992 while at Laney Jr. College I sang with my college choir for two years while at the same time I sang with an gospel ensemble group called "Chosen Too". Presently, I sing with the gospel choir at Brookins AME church in Oakland, California. Greatfully, I began my solo artist career in 2007, and I do believe in my heart that it is for tough times as these which we live in today that God has raised me up.
