I'm a 36-year-old singer, songwriter, and guitarist. I spent many of those years trying to decide if I was only a lead guitar player, or a songwriter, or a singer. Now... I'm kind of all three.
I unapologetically write moody songs.... and I say that with a smile!!! Some folks don't like moody songs... well... that's fine. However, I have found an audience for my songs within people who wish that they could write songs about their losses, fears, doubts, etc. and see something tangible, and even beautiful, created out of those types of feelings. I strive for that.
Since picking-up the guitar at ten years of age, I've believed in the guitar as a songwriting tool. But I've also believed that guitar based songs can be more than strumming the "usual suspect" chords. Now, all my explorations of lead-guitar, progressive rock, blues, new wave, and good old rock & roll highlight a creative approach to music. Hopefully you'll agree that I've finally concentrated my influences and styles into something cohesive. "For Those Who Fall" is the result and I genuinely hope you enjoy it; let me know what you think!
