Album Notes

Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist-Danny Allen, originally from Oakland California, moved to L.A.

He formed the band (Boys Named Sue) with L.A. native Songwriter-Bassist-Dave Chapple.

Later on in 1997, Harvette was born.

Then they met (outside LA's Smog Cutter Karaoke Bar) the hubcap/coffee can collecting Michael Kinkade. He was wearing a hat and plaid shirt.

The Arizona musical contortionist and multiple style guru was enlisted to bang on things while explaining the benefits of growing up in a tent.

Other musical stints include Tracy Bonham (Danny) and Baby Lemonade/Love with Arthur Lee (Dave), as well as Michael's never ending recording calendar.

The latest self titled release contains 13 diverse songs that were written, produced, engineered and mastered by the band in their Los Angeles downtown studio.

Recorded in luxurious 16 track 2" analog, and mixed an an old British console, the 3 headed monster delivers a blend of backbiting - honey ladled underdog guitar tones, crafty percussion and wry, top dead center lyrics.
