Shrine to my Heart takes you from dreamscapes to exotic lands.

Shrine to My Heart takes you from dreamscapes to exotic far away lands where you can almost see what they are singing. On a couple songs they go into what I coin here as "Goddess Rap", a gentle flow of words more like a meditation than what we currently know as rap music, but it definitly is the spoken word as music. This music is a mood maker, and one you don't want to seperate from.

Beautiful vocals sift through sonic landscapes

This music is a ticket to other worlds... Art in the highest sense, the magic will leap out at you. Beautiful vocals sift through sonic landscapes, inviting you to travel there as well. I am never diapointed in anything Nina Pak, Marta Wiley, or their group Hathorsister creates.

An endless journey into timeless time
author: Gareth Balch
If your reality feels a bit lacking in some magical elements right now, or jaded by those that you might have visited too often, then its time to do as I did and enter the world of the HathorsSister through this beautiful cd.... appropriately entitled “Shrine To My Heart”.
Firstly let me introduce you to the “Sisters” ....Nina Pak and Marta Wiley....2 collaborative and empathic souls on a journey into the mystical and metaphysical parallels that accompany and reward our spirits for taking the time to discover them.....and now here and through the music on this album they both invite you in, and then carry you away, to be blissfully haunted ...but not by ghosts... but by alternative dimensional experiences.
All that is required of you here is your presence ......You should however be aware that you might well encounter places and experiences hitherto unknown...elicited, not by coercion or by being entwined into this irresistible hypnotic music, but by your own willingness to accept that which you do not immediately recognise....a reunion not only in the music but also in yourself....
When you realise that you are able to exist within your world, both compassionately and yet challenged, then you will understand the unquestionable certainty of the steady rhythmic motion involved in hearing the beat of your own drummer ....and how the HathorsSisters music is somehow walking right beside and within you.
I have played this album over and over and apart from the now expected and comforting meeting of melodious friends I also find that there are yet many other hitherto undiscovered, beautiful, shadow-like nuances here making themselves known.
Your ears will love the music it hears on this album and your soul will most surely recognise its own reflection....and as with all journeys of excellence the wish of course is that it never ends.
