Album Notes

New Jersey’s Home At Last, comprising Bruce Pike, Ernie Trionfo, Steve Shurman and Charlie Andaloro, celebrate 25 years with this new collection that looks back at the band’s history (with 11 digitally re-mastered tracks from their first three CDs) and forward to the future with three brand new recordings… plus a tongue-in-cheek bonus track! It’s a 72-minute-plus upbeat smorgasbord of sounds and styles encompassing the best elements of classic rock, pop, and prog rock.

Among its 15 total tracks, “25 The Hard Way” includes the single-worthy alt-rocker “It’s All said And Done,” the band's ska-rock favorite “Eye For An I,” the fusion/prog/pop influenced “Warmer September” and the award-winning Pike/Shurman composition “A Matter Of Time.” Jazz keyboardsman Cotton Kent is along for the ride on “All That Might Have Been,” while Eric Coslop and Patty Balbo also make several guest appearances.

Jim Babjak of the legendary Smithereens consulted with the group during the arranging and recording of the new tracks included here.
