Markus Hauck was trained as a classical pianist in Germany before studying jazz as a scholarship recipient at Berklee College of Music. He has also lived in Paris and Southern Spain, figured out the meaning of life, and played keyboards (dressed in a bright pink jumpsuit) with a rock group for crowds numbering up to 8,000. In other words, he's a perfectly harmless (although not really normal) guy who just happens to write brilliant music.
