Album Notes

Formed in early 2004 on the idea that the industry was lacking honest bands with a genuine approach to this mess we call modern music, Haven’t Talked Since immediately released their debut EP “Half The Person” and surprised a local and national audience alike with their hardworking DIY approach and their fiercely independent attitude regarding the music business. After more than a year of promoting their debut EP and playing countless local and regional shows the band went on tour with the 2005 Vans Warped Tour. After Thirty-eight states and fifteen thousand miles of touring it became clear that the boys in Haven’t Talked Since were not afraid of hard work and were not going to give up any time soon. In fall 2005 the band self-recorded and self-released their second EP “So Sorry. The Acoustic EP.” Now, enter the band’s most challenging task to date: writing, recording and releasing their debut full-length album. After countless hours of working in their home studio the band emerged with their greatest musical effort to date “Rise & Fall” an entire album produced and recorded by Raymond Kerrigan Gauvin with help from singer/guitarist Daniel Lohmeyer, guitarist/Screamer Kory Boulier and bassist Lucas Michaud. With the recording out of the way the self managed madness that is Haven’t Talked Since can now focus on their summer long stint on Van’s Warped Tour 2006. Forty-four states and twenty thousand plus miles aren’t going to scare off these small-city boys. They have seen enough of this business to know that they have a chance to live the rest of their lives touring, writing, recording and doing what they love to do.

Really enjoyed the blend of melody and screamo on this work. Had heart. Right from the intro you know it's a good one! Good writing and sounds great. Nice job HTS!
