Album Notes

Originally from Evansville, Indiana, Jeff has been playing and recording music since the age of 14. Early on he was known mostly in Evansville with bands In The Attic and Blue Berry Jam with long-time friend Brad Brothers. After recording a full-length album for 2 years with the band In The Attic that was never released, Jeff moved to Omaha, Nebraska in the summer of 2008 to start fresh. He began working on some songs by himself and started a website to give people his music. After a few songs, he began working on what is now the self-released debut album Art in the Street, mostly inspired by his love of street art. When playing live, he has been known to re-work some songs into multi-instrument loops, improvise instrumental loops, and play some songs on just acoustic. Lyrically he can be anywhere between somewhat political or completely vague. From hip-hop-like beats and guitar solos to all Jeff choirs, echo effects and simple two-part harmonies, his music is sometimes hard to classify; combining folk, electronica, funk, rock, blues, and sometimes ambient noise to get a full and progressive sound. It's easy to see he won't run out of ideas anytime soon.
