Album Notes

Lauren started writing songs as a freshman at Florida State University in Tallahassee. After she graduated with a degree in music education she decided to move to Thailand, which is where she wrote most of the songs on this album. She moved back home in May and recorded this first full-length album on her computer using Pro Tools. She plays guitar, keyboards, percussion, and a little bit of banjo. Matt Bogart (www.matthewbogart.com) and Ted Dahmke (www.joshtedphilco.com) lovingly contributed the album art. Lauren loves hearing feedback about her music, so drop her a line. She currently lives in Boone, North Carolina.

Delicious Candy Laced with Insightful Melancholy
author: EEK
A delightful cd full of acoustic folk pop from a real talent. Hayworth's songs are an extremely palatable mix of innocent, playful songwriting delicately laced with the more acerbic aspects of life. Her strongest ally is her voice, clear and confident, it steps and bends around the words, rhythms and melodies she dreams up. A satisfying first album by an artist that continues to grow.

Relaxing, inspiring, soulful, and a number of other adjectives.

Lauren continues to amaze me in her progress as a musician, and I'm sure that she will continue to do so as long as she pursues it. The vocals are smooth and soulful, her arrangements are original and well done. Turn on tracks 2 and 14 and let the cares of a stressed out world melt away.
