Singer-songwriter Harry Bird teams up with good friends the Rubber Wellies (Christophe Capewell and Maria Blackwell) in a British/Irish/Bilbaino folk con-fusion… Their first self-produced album, "Long Way to be Free", is an exploration of faith, love and displacement in a world made up of contradictions, that combines contemporary British and Irish folk with touches of reggae, klezma, americana and latin rythms. Recorded over five months in five different countries, it is released on their own label Hot Drop Records.
