Album Notes

WHAT THE BAND SOUNDS LIKE:

"Astronauts," the band's most recent release, provides 11 tracks of mercilessly memorable, distinctive pop. HERE COMES EVERYBODY rocks without the aid of guitars and gobs of distortion. Rene' Ormae-Jarmer writes piano pop, pure and simple, full of hook and melody. Michael Jarmer sings while simultaneously drumming. His lyrics contain actual ideas and cover a wide emotional thematic terrain.

WHAT THE PRESS HAS TO SAY:

"Here Comes Everybody is one of those bands that defies expectation and bend the reigning local music stereotype of the day."--Jam Magazine

"...a piano-sugared pop confection that's refined and sweet. With jaunty thythms and melodies that sweep and soar, 'Astronauts' should appeal to anyone who enjoys the piano-pop revivalism of Ben Folds, Scott Fisher or hell, even Quasi's happier moments."--Willamette Week

"...a small pop masterpiece...exploring mature topics with intelligence and humor..."--Two Louies

Here Comes Everybody's "It's A Buick" has been recently featured on NPR's CARTALK. Grab 'ASTRONAUTS' and listen have a copy of your very own! (posted 07/10/03)

REVIEWS

Some great music and creativity!
author: Winki
I truly love several of the tracks. I was disappointed in the adolescent attitude and use of swearing in three of the tracks. All in all I enjoy listening to this band and feel they have great potential!!!
