Album Notes

"Deep In a Dream" unfolds an enchanted story, drawing upon archetypal energies. These introspective songscapes journey through past present and future realms; going within in order to ultimately transcend various forms of pain and suffering. At times melancholy, with a meditative tone, these songs also convey an underlying strength.

Inspiration often comes from dreams, as in the song,"Iron Age" where Love writes, "Outside a crowd of people standing by... A rock had torn away to reveal the water inside. I took my hand to touch it and I, I felt it, suspended in time..."

A strong connection to the ocean, her love of animals and nature, provides a constant source of reverence and inspiration. As a child, Love was drawn to the magical mystery and beauty of music, poetry and the arts. Journeys to other lands, opened her eyes to other cultures, and ways of life. Love's personal experience and observations are what continue to fuel concerns pertaining to a perceived misuse of power in our world, the struggle to belong, and stay true to ourselves...(the 100% recycled digi-pack with 16 page booklet, includes artwork created during the same period by H.C.Love).

"In the realm of the heart I find you, my friend... you whose howl lingers amidst the cold morning mist. As day light emerges, your cry echoes through the canyon. It is a cry of longing, a cry of being separated from your brothers. Your voice is the carrier that will bring you home to the place where love dwells..."
