Heather Waugh (now Heather Evans after getting married to Brett Evans in December of 2006) is a 20 year old singer/songwriter that is a bit hard to define, but easy to understand. Heather writes about real things...in her words; '...things I know about...things that I love...things that have hurt me.'

Combine her unique mix of pop/rock/folk with her unbelievable ability to express herself well beyond her years, and you get to know Heather. Heather writes all of her own lyrics and music; and collaborated with Producer Rusty Thomas Yanok from The PowerPlant Multimedia Studios (www.thepowerplant.tv) in Columbus, Ohio on production and mix for Impatient Heart.

We've heard female singer/songwriters are 'on the way back in,' we certainly hope so. Some say Heather sounds a bit like Avril, others say Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton...maybe even a Sheryl Crow here and there; but one thing is for sure: Someday, there will be artists saying '...they say I sound a little like Heather Waugh (Heather Evans)...'
